This is NOT a problem with selecting the Windows default printer. It is also NOT an issue with allow Windows to select the printer. I find that for the most part, in a work session, the first time I go to print, Edge defaults to "Safe to PDF," once I have selected another printer default or other printer it seems to remember it for the rest of the session. But, if the computer goes to sleep, or you start a new Edge session, the Save to PDF "default" returns.
As I see a lot of posts, this is a very frustrating problem for a lot of us! We need a REAL solution, please!!! No more change your Windows default answers. Period, full stop. Frequently, when I go to print something, the default comes up as "save to pdf". How do I get the default to show the default printer? This thread is locked.
